Cauliflower Poutine - Keto Friendly
A delicious keto friendly version of a poutine. Easy to make and easier to eat.
Ingredients
  • 1 medium head, chopped Cauliflower
  • 1 bag Cheese Curds (Squeaker's)
  • 2 cups Keto Gravy
  • 3 tbls Oilive or Coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup Water
Instructions
1. Cut the head of cauliflower into large florets and then chop each floret into 1cm slices or into small chunks.2. Put a large skillet on medium-high heat and add oil3. when the pan is hot, add the cauliflower slices. Do not stir the cauliflower at first, leave it alone until it has started to brown on the first side, then stir only enough to move around and let another side brown. browning all sides should take about 5-7 minutes. 4. Add 1/4 C of water to the pan and cover for 5 minutes. This will gently finish steam cooking the cauliflower.5. While the cauliflower is cooking, heat up the gravy6. Check the cauliflower to make sure the stems are each to piece with a knife. If they are tender, take off the lid and cook on medium until the water evaporates from the pan - if there is any left.7. Assemble the poutine. In a bowl or on a plate, att 1/4 of the cooked cauliflower. Drop 1/4 of the bag of cheese curds onto the hot cauliflower poking some into the open spaces between the floret slices. Top with gravy and enjoy!
